The application is designed to be easily used, without the need to search through complicated menus for basic functions.

Scroll - zoom in and zoom out.
In additional, the search panel (left) is also very useful for navigation purposes. Selecting a neighborhood, the map will move to that neighborhood. Same thing happens for the streets.
 
If you need a URL (link) to the current position of the map, either to show that location to a friend or to keep it for later references, use the Link button in the right top corner. It will give you a web address that will open the map to the desired location.
 
Craiova Map is a commercial map. If you keep the mouse still on a given building, the names of the companies or institutions inside that building will show up. Do click on the building and the left top panel will show these companies, with the possibility to get more information on each of them.
 

Craiova Map makes it easy to find different points of interest, whatever it's about companies, institutions, locations, streets or parks.
 
The search panel located to the left middle side is disposed on two tabs. The Search tab facilitates the companies / institutions search, and the Location tab helps you search streets, important buildings, parks etc.
 
For the companies search the panel offers several criteria. You can select the type of the result you want (dinner, bank, store etc.). You can fill in the name or parts of the name of the company. And of course you can select the location where you want to search for that company: neighborhood and / or street.
 
Before submitting the search query, you can see that the selected search limitations are visible on the map. The companies of the selected type are selected on the map, the map is located on the neighborhood you picked and the street is selected. This way you can visualise the set of points that match your search.
 
After pushing the "search" button you will receive in the left top panel the search results. A result is composed of it's name and type. To find out more info about a result, click the result's title. To center the map on the result, click "go there".
